The DS-1201 builds upon the robust foundation of the DS-1200 series, offering enhanced expandability for diverse industrial applications. Powered by 8th/9th Generation Intel Core processors on the LGA1151 socket with the Intel Q370 chipset, it provides excellent processing capabilities for demanding tasks. This system supports up to 64GB of DDR4 2400/2666MHz memory and offers versatile storage options with two 2.5" SATA drive bays, three mSATA slots, and an M.2 slot supporting both PCIe and SATA interfaces.

A standout feature of the DS-1201 is its expansion capability, featuring a single PCIe/PCI slot for integrating additional functionality. This expandability is complemented by dual GbE LAN ports (Intel I219-LM and I210), two USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, four USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, and two RS-232/422/485 serial ports.
