This Privacy Policy explains what information ADEK Industrial Computers ("we", "us") collects through our website, https://adek.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies only to information we collect through this website and not to information we may receive from other sources.

Information We Collect Automatically

Like most website operators, we collect the technical information that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. We collect this information to understand how visitors use the website and to keep it secure and working properly.

We also operate a first-party visit log that records the pages a visitor views on this site (for example, which products were browsed before a quote request), and we keep a first-party count of page views on our own server (the page address, the referring page, the date and time, your browser's user-agent string, and your network address truncated so that it no longer identifies an individual device). This information stays with us: it is used internally to respond to inquiries and improve the site, and it is not sold or shared. Two narrow exceptions: first, when your visit arrived from one of our advertisements, the visit may carry an advertising click identifier (such as Google's gclid or Microsoft's msclkid); if your inquiry later becomes a customer relationship, we may report that click identifier — together with a conversion time and value, but no other visit-log details — back to the advertising platform that referred you, so it can measure our advertising. Second, when Google Analytics is active for your visit, the visit record that accompanies a quote or contact submission may include your Google Analytics client identifier, which lets us connect your inquiry to our own analytics.

Information You Provide to Us

When you submit our contact or quote forms, we ask for information such as your name, email address, and message, and you may optionally provide a phone number, company name, and product or project details. Along with your submission we receive the visit information described above (the pages you viewed on this site before submitting), which helps our team respond with relevant recommendations.

We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry and manage our business relationship with you. Form submissions are stored in our internal systems and delivered to our team by email through Microsoft 365. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except for the service providers described below, or where required by law.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

A cookie is a small piece of information that a website stores on a visitor's computer. We use first-party cookies and browser storage for essential site features: remembering your cookie consent choice and keeping track of products you add to a quote request. These essential features do not track you across other websites.

On our main website, whether third-party analytics tags (such as Google Analytics, delivered via Google Tag Manager) load by default depends on where you are browsing from:

  • European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland: a consent banner appears on your first visit, and analytics tags load only after you choose "Accept". If you decline, no third-party analytics tags are loaded; we remember a decline for six months and an acceptance for up to one year before asking again.
  • Everywhere else (including the United States): analytics and measurement tags load when the page loads. You can opt out at any time using the "Cookie Preferences" link in the site footer; an opt-out is remembered for six months and can be renewed indefinitely.

We determine which of the two applies from the country your network address resolves to; when it cannot be determined, we show the consent banner. We record the consent choices made on this site in the same internal first-party log described above (the choice, its date, and the country it was made from) so we can honor and audit them. Advertising features in our tags are used to measure and advertise our own products only — we never sell your personal information or share it with third-party ad networks for their own purposes.

Advertising landing pages (addresses beginning with /lp/, reached by clicking one of our online advertisements) work differently: they load analytics and measurement scripts when the page loads, without a prior consent prompt. These include Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager and Google Ads conversion measurement, and — when enabled — CallRail call tracking, which may display a phone number specific to your visit so we can attribute calls to our advertising. We use this data to measure and improve our advertising. If you submit a form on one of these pages, Google's and Microsoft's measurement tags on the page may also collect the email address and phone number you provided for conversion measurement ("enhanced conversions"): the tags convert these values to a one-way SHA-256 hash in your browser before transmitting them, so the platforms receive only the hashed form. You can limit these technologies through your browser's cookie controls or Google's ad settings.

Third-Party Services

We use a small number of third-party services to operate this website. Each may process limited technical data (such as your IP address) when your browser loads their resources:

  • Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics — website analytics: on the main website, loaded by default for visitors outside the EEA/UK/Switzerland and only after consent within them; on advertising landing pages, loaded when the page loads (see "Cookies" above). See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • CallRail — call tracking on advertising landing pages only (when enabled): may show a visit-specific phone number so we can attribute calls to our advertising. See CallRail's Privacy Policy.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — protects our contact and quote forms from automated abuse. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
  • Google Fonts and Google Maps — web fonts used across the site and the map shown on our contact page are served by Google.
  • Microsoft 365 — delivers email notifications for form submissions to our team.

Aggregated Statistics

We may compile aggregated, non-personally-identifying statistics about visitor behavior (for example, the most viewed product categories) and may share such aggregate information. Aggregated statistics never include personally-identifying information.

Security

The security of your personal information is important to us, but no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we use commercially reasonable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Links to External Sites

Our website may contain links to external sites that are not operated by us. If you click a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We advise you to review the privacy policy and terms of every site you visit.

We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites, products, or services.

Your Choices and Contact

You can browse this website without providing personal information. You can decline or switch off analytics cookies at any time — through the consent banner where it is shown, or through the "Cookie Preferences" link in the main website's footer — and you can set your browser to refuse cookies entirely (essential features such as the quote list may not work without them). To ask about, correct, or request deletion of information you have submitted to us, contact us at [email protected] or through our contact page.

Privacy Policy Changes

ADEK Industrial Computers may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. We encourage visitors to review this page periodically.
