Why an industrial computer company is at a machine tool show
Every CNC, robot cell, inspection station, and material handling system has a computer in it somewhere, and that computer is rarely the part the machine builder wants to spend time on. It has to survive the environment, run the same way on unit 500 as it did on unit 1, and still be available when a customer orders a spare in year seven.
That's the problem we solve. Machine builders and integrators come to us when:
- A controller or panel PC is going end-of-life and the replacement has to be qualified, imaged, and documented without disrupting production
- Every shipped machine needs the identical build — same BIOS settings, same OS image, same drivers, same part number — and that consistency has to be enforced, not hoped for
- The system needs I/O, cabling, mounting, and enclosure work done before it arrives, not on the shop floor
- A complete rack or cabinet has to show up tested and ready to power on, delivered under a single part number
- GPU or edge AI hardware is being added for vision or inspection and needs to be integrated into an existing platform
We handle the computing side so the machine builder can stay focused on the machine.
What we do
ADEK is a small, engineering-led company in Raymond, New Hampshire. We've spent over two decades configuring and integrating industrial and embedded computers for automation, defense, and OEM customers. At IMTS we'll be talking about:

- GPU and edge AI systems for vision, inspection, and inference at the machine
- Rack integration and kitting for OEMs shipping complete systems to end customers
- Lifecycle and EOL management so a controller specified today is still supportable years from now
