Where These Panel PCs Go to Work

Machine & Line Control HMI

Operator control mounted at the machine: recipes, start/stop, alarms, and status on one sealed touchscreen.

SCADA & Process Visualization

Plant-floor front end for PLCs and SCADA — live dashboards over 2.5GbE, legacy devices on RS-232/422/485 serial.

Washdown & High-Dust Areas

IP66-sealed front panels stand up to spray-down cleaning and airborne dust once panel-mounted in an enclosure.

Test & Maintenance Stations

All-in-one touch workstations for QA benches, test cells, and maintenance bays — no separate monitor, tower, or cabling to fail.

Choosing Touch and Toughness

PCAP Multi-Touch or 5-Wire Resistive — Match the Touch to the Glove

Projected-capacitive (PCAP) touch — on the SP-151C and SP-211C — puts a glass face over a Full HD panel and supports multi-touch gestures, the natural fit for modern HMI software operated bare-handed or in thin gloves.

Five-wire resistive touch — on the 17" SP-170R — registers pressure rather than capacitance, so it responds to any glove, a stylus, or a fingernail, and is far less prone to phantom touches from water on the screen.

  • Pick PCAP for sharp optics, gestures, and a flush glass front that wipes clean.
  • Pick resistive when operators wear heavy gloves or the screen routinely gets wet.

Beyond -10°C to 50°C: the Convertible P2000 Route

The ARBOR SP series is rated for -10°C to 50°C — comfortable for most plants. When the install point is an unheated depot, an outdoor enclosure, or a line that bakes, the Cincoze P2000 runs from -40°C to 70°C without a fan, accepts 9–48 VDC power, and carries MIL-STD-810H shock and vibration testing plus EN 45545-2 railway fire-protection certification.

Its convertible CDS design separates the computer from the display module, so the same rugged computer can drive different Cincoze display sizes — and it mounts by wall, DIN rail, VESA, or CDS to suit the installation.

Industrial Panel PC Buying Questions

Should I choose PCAP or resistive touch for my HMI?
PCAP (on the SP-151C and SP-211C) is a glass-fronted, multi-touch technology with sharp optics — the usual choice for new installations operated bare-handed or in thin gloves. Five-wire resistive (on the SP-170R) responds to pressure, so it works with any glove or stylus and tolerates moisture on the screen. If your operators wear heavy gloves or the screen gets wet in use, pick resistive; otherwise most buyers pick PCAP.
What does the IP66 front rating actually cover?
IP66 means the front face is dust-tight and sealed against powerful water jets. The rating applies to the front of the unit once it is panel-mounted with its gasket; the rear of the unit sits inside your cabinet or enclosure, which provides the protection on that side.
What is the difference between panel mounting and VESA mounting?
Panel mounting sets the unit into a cutout in a cabinet door or machine enclosure so only the sealed front face is exposed — the standard approach for control cabinets. VESA mounting bolts the unit to an arm, stand, or bracket, which is easier to retrofit and reposition but leaves the rear exposed. The Cincoze P2000 additionally supports wall, DIN-rail, and CDS mounting per its spec sheet.
How much display brightness do I need?
The panel PCs on this page span 250 to 450 cd/m². 250 cd/m² (SP-170R, SP-211C) is comfortable under normal plant lighting; the 450 cd/m² SP-151C helps under strong overhead light or near windows. For direct sunlight, tell us — sunlight-readable display options exist in the Cincoze line.
Can you configure memory, storage, and OS before shipping?
Yes — tell us your requirements and we'll configure memory, storage, OS, and expansion to match. A US-based engineer reviews every request and will reply within one business day.
Do you support OEM and volume programs?
Yes — we support OEM and volume programs; mention quantities in your request and an engineer will follow up with configuration options.
