Cooling With Nothing to Break
Every system on this page cools by conduction: the extruded-aluminum enclosure is the heatsink, so there is no fan bearing to wear out and no airflow pulling dust through the electronics.
- All four models: -40°C to 70°C with 35W-TDP processors and extended-temperature peripherals
- DX-1100: complies with the EN 50155 dry heat thermal test — 85°C for 10 minutes
- Higher-TDP CPUs carry documented narrower ranges (for example, 51–65W CPUs in the DS-1200 are rated -40°C to 45°C)
Shock and Vibration, Quantified
The ratings come straight from the spec sheets:
- DS-1200 and DX-1100: 50 Grms shock and 5 Grms vibration resistance
- DS-1400: MIL-STD-810G tested, with a front-accessible hot-swap 2.5" bay and RAID 0/1/5/10
- DV-1100: MIL-STD-810H tested in a 2.52 kg package
Configure any of them with mSATA or M.2 solid-state storage to remove the last moving part from the system.
DC Power Built for Vehicles and Plants
All four systems accept 9–48 VDC and protect themselves with over-voltage, over-current, and reverse-power protection. For on-vehicle duty, an optional CFM module adds 12V/24V power ignition sensing — the DS-1400 version includes delay time management for clean startup and shutdown with the vehicle.
